Huron Oaks has 2 private meeting rooms which are equipped with white boards and overhead projectors. These rooms are perfect for the off-site business meetings, corporate outings, banquets, luncheons, dinners, weddings, or other gatherings. With the restaurant opened year round these rooms can be fully serviced with any food and beverage requests. Our dining room is available to seat functions of up to 100 people, for weddings, banquets, luncheons, dinners or an open house. In addition, there is a dance floor in our dining room for those special events. We have round tables and long tables and will set the room up as you request. Our culinary team can offer a full menu of plated meals, hot or cold buffets, and hot and cold appetizers to offer you. This room is perfect for meetings and seminars. The room has the following items available to you: Portable TV, Flat Screen TV, DVD Player, LCD Projector, Overhead Projector, Projector Screen, Easel and White Board. The Oaks Room is also an intimate setting for small groups for dinners, showers, birthday parties etc. The size of the room is 25' x 26' and will accommodate seated groups up to 40 people. Our Message to Valued Members and Guests
As we approach the end of the 2017 golf season we would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of our members as well as guests for the continued and growing support. This year has delivered a number of changes to the Food & Beverage operation as well as the team used to provide a more consistent and quality product.
Our Executive Chef Phil Washington joined the Oaks Bar & Grill in late April. The menu has been transitioned to one of quality locally sourced ingredients, with an emphasis on fresh and fun dining. Our objective moving forward is the growth and evolution of The Oaks Bar & Grill into the best place to dine in the Bright’s Grove and Sarnia area. Starting November 1st 2017 we will be moving to our winter hours of operation, which will be Monday-Friday 4pm-10pm, Saturday and Sunday from 8am till 9pm. The Halfway House hours of operation will be weather dependent.
Over the course of the winter season we will be hosting several special events from a Taste of Ontario open house on Thursday the 2nd of November, band nights and themed menus on select Saturdays over January, February and March. On November 11th we will be serving a three course set menu with live dinner music starting at 5pm. Open Mic night will return to The Oaks Bar & Grill Saturday Dec 9th. It is our mission to increase the level of service and consistently provide the best quality dinners and dining experience in the area. We will also be utilizing comment cards, TripAdvisor and Facebook in order to evaluate how we are doing moving forward. Comment cards submitted in the restaurant and feedback via our website, TripAdvisor and Facebook will be monitored. This feedback allows us the opportunity to listen to our guests on what we can do better. These reviews will be carefully discussed and worked on by our ownership and management as well as all reviewers will be entered in our monthly draw if they provide an email address. Understanding our guests/members and how we can provide the best dining experience is our sole focus moving forward at The Oaks Bar & Grill.
